The other day we had a huge thunderstorm. In fact, it wasn't just a storm it was a wild afternoon of 4 inches of rain, wind and even flooding in 3 hours! I must say that I was thankful for it. Not just because the grass, plants and trees are dying but because I didn't have to spend another evening at the football field!!
Anyway, there was an extremely loud clap of thunder and Jack came running. He was screaming but before he could get to me Matthew scooped him up and said, "It's okay. You don't have to be scared. It is just a natural sound of nature. It doesn't blow anything up!" I think that kid plays to many video games!! Out of the mouths of babes!!

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of thunder, I love to listen to a great thunderstorm, and watch the beautiful lighting, with the sound of pouring rain. Its rather relaxing even! As a kid we used to watch thunderstorms with our parents, which is probably why it's always an enjoyable event to me.
